Another week, another edition of ZotShots from your New University photographers.

This past week featured was Spirit Week, sponsored by Materials Science Engineering (MatSci) and Pre-Pharmacy Society (PPS), where clubs came together and competed against one another in a series of tasks like transporting water from one end of the field to another only using sponges (pictured here).

Acts like Cobe Obeah enervated Pacific Ballroom for the third annual Urban Arts Fest, sponsored by Hip Hop Congress, on Wednesday, April 6.

Freshman Calvin Chu made an impact on the relief effort for Japan on Tuesday, March 29 when he raised $1300 in one day by selling baked goods on Ring Road. He sold “about 2000 cookies, about 1000 oreo balls, about 150 cupcakes in ice cream cones, about 200 cupcakes, and a ton of brownies.”

Fans flocked to HIB 100 and filled it up to capacity on Thursday night for a special midnight screening of the film “Your Highness” as a reward for placing third in the Eventful competition to bring the film and its stars to the campus that receives the most votes.
