In the article ‘Bake Sale Deemed Discriminatory,’ Adeli Duron of M.E.Ch.A. purported to speak for the Latino community as a single entity when stating that the ‘Latino community is enraged’ at the College Republican bake sale. This is grossly inaccurate and is the essence of true prejudice and racism. Perhaps a national socialist agenda (as outlined on M.E.Ch.A.’s own web site) may be palatable to some in the Latino community, but to claim that as a whole they stand by M.E.Ch.A.’s fury is nothing short of the worst form of racial generalization. Their politics and agenda are not the goal of all Latinos
