Annual Celebration Of Teaching
On May 27, 2010, the Teaching, Learning & Technology Center (TLTC) will be hosting the 17th Annual Celebration of Teaching. The event is sponsored by the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) and the Senate Council on Student Experience (CSE).
The Annual Celebration of Teaching seeks to recognize excellence in undergraduate teaching. Awards are divided into two categories: (1) school honorees and (2) campuswide (competitive) awards. For the school honorees, the dean selects one faculty member to be recognized for excellence in teaching. The campuswide awards include the following: Professor of the Year, Lecturer of the Year, Teaching Assistant Development Award, Pedagogical Innovation: Civic Engagement, Instructional Technology Innovation Award and Most Promising Future Faculty Member.
