UCI Ph.D. visual studies candidate Ella Turenne’s life was celebrated on March 4, 2022. Turenne, who passed away on Dec. 25, 2021, served as an activist, artist, educator, mentor and scholar in the UCI community. To honor her life, the School of Humanities presented a “Celebration of Ella Turenne” with her colleagues, family and friends.
